Bear Necessities

Bear Necessities is a large cabin located right in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area and just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge on all paved roads. You are just a hop, skip and a jump from Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa River and Aska Trail heads for hiking. This cabin is decorated beautifully and has a breathtaking year round view of the mountains and Lake Blue Ridge. You can sit on one of the three porches and look out at layers and layers of blue mountains! You will have the best of both worlds....both long range views and mountains that look like they are close enough to reach out and touch! The main level has a covered porch that wraps around the entire level with a gas grill, porch swing, rockers and wood burning fireplace! Inside this level find a great room with a wall of glass to take in the view, soaring ceilings,living area with satellite television and leather furniture situated around a massive rocked wood burning fireplace, dining area and upgraded kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed and double doors leading onto the covered porch and a full bath. The upper level has a open loft with a queen bed and television. The master suite is also on this level. It has a king log bed, television and double glass doors opening up onto a private covered porch with a spectacular view! The master bath has a large jetted garden tub and shower. The lower level features the game/family room complete with a pool table, air hockey table, living area with sleeper sofa and satellite television and a full bath. The lower level bedroom has two double beds and french doors opening up into the family room. Just outside the lower level is the hot tub on a covered porch and just a few steps away is a second outdoor wood burning fireplace.
